Our client a start-up in the textile industry, is seeking to hire a Textile Production Manager who will oversee and coordinate all aspects of textile production within the company. This includes planning, organizing, and monitoring the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage resources effectively while adhering to budgetary and safety requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff while fostering teamwork and safety.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and address any issues promptly.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize processes to reduce costs and minimize machine downtime.
- Budget Management: Control production costs and manage budgets effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and industry regulations in the workplace.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage raw material, tools, and finished product inventories.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues in production processes.
- Customer Collaboration: Work with sales and design teams to meet customer specifications and resolve concerns.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on production metrics and performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in textile production or manufacturing management.
- Strong knowledge of textile production techniques, machinery, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in production planning tools and software.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations in the textile industry.
