Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain 

Our client established in the hospitality sector are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Storekeeper to join their team and ensure efficient management of food and beverage inventory and supplies.

Storekeeper Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming deliveries, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner in storerooms, cold rooms, and freezers.
  • Ensure inventory is rotated according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to reduce wastage and spoilage.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all inventory transactions in the system or stock cards.
  • Assist in weekly and monthly inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Alert relevant departments when stock levels are low or when items are nearing expiration.
  • Comply with all safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations.
  • Monitor and report any damaged or spoiled stock to the purchasing or kitchen teams.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department for timely replenishment and delivery scheduling.

Storekeeper Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a storekeeping or inventory control role within the hospitality industry (restaurant or hotel setting preferred).
  • Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP standards, and proper storage techniques.
  • Familiarity with inventory software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Storekeeper Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Certificate or Diploma in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
