Senior Project Manager Description

Senior Project Manager for high end villa projects, you will take full responsibility for managing construction sites, ensuring high-quality execution, adherence to budget and timelines, and maintaining strict compliance with regulations.

We need a hands-on leader who can oversee and manage all aspects of site operations.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in on-site management, subcontractor coordination, and problem-solving.

You must have a valid UAE driving license and experience in overseeing high-end villa construction or fit-out projects.

Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Project Management & Contractor Supervision Take direct control of construction site activities, ensuring efficient project execution.

Oversee contractors and subcontractors to guarantee quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.

Identify and resolve issues proactively, preventing delays and cost overruns.

Conduct daily site inspections to maintain high construction standards.

2. Design Coordination & Execution Oversight Serve as the main point of contact between the project team and design team, ensuring project objectives align with the design intent.

Review architectural and engineering drawings for feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Address design conflicts and provide on-site solutions for seamless execution.

3. Procurement, Quantity Surveying & Budget Control Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely material ordering and delivery.

Verify that material selections align with quality and budget requirements.

Monitor expenses, ensuring cost control without compromising quality.

Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value.

4. Quality Assurance, Safety & Compliance Implement strict quality control measures to maintain the highest construction standards.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, health & safety laws, and environmental requirements.

Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues before they arise.

5. Team Leadership & On-Site Coordination Lead and mentor site teams, ensuring clear task delegation and accountability.

Foster a strong working relationship with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Organize and lead site meetings to ensure alignment on project progress and challenges.

6. Reporting & Communication Provide accurate and timely reports on project progress, financials, and challenges.

Maintain open communication with management to address issues and suggest improvements.

Ensure all documentation is properly recorded and stored for future reference.

Skills

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)

Proven experience managing construction sites, preferably high-end villas or fit-out projects.

Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to construction challenges.

Ability to lead teams, supervise contractors, and enforce quality control.

Excellent understanding of UAE construction regulations and safety standards.

Commercially astute, numerate, and capable of accurate project forecasting.

IT literate – proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.

Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
