Senior Administrative Assistant Minimum Qualification and Experience
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
- Must have cumulative work experience of six (6) years, three (3) of which should be as a Senior Administrative Assistant II or in a comparable position;
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited institution;
- Those with Master’s degree will have an added advantage;
- Registered with relevant professional body (where applicable);
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Senior Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail: –
- Providing administrative support services in the university;
- implementing and evaluating policies and strategies;
- Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments;
- Providing secretariat services during meetings;
- Implementing administrative functions;
- Performing administrative operational duties in specific area of assignment;
- Preparing and analyzing reports;
- Coordination of administrative activities;
- Participating in quality audits; and,
- Supervising assigned staff.

- Registered Credit Reference Bureau
