Job Description

Reports To: Director

Gross salary: 70,000 – 80,000

Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and dedicated School Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a prestigious school. The successful candidate will manage administrative, financial, and operational activities, creating a conducive environment for students and staff while ensuring smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
  • Oversee the smooth running of day-to-day school operations, including class schedules, student attendance, and general administrative tasks.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce school policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
  • Coordinate all school events, parent-teacher meetings, extracurricular activities, and special events.
Human Resources:
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and development of non-teaching staff (administrative, support, maintenance).
  • Ensure proper staff scheduling, monitoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Act as a liaison between teaching staff, students, and parents, resolving conflicts and issues professionally.
Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage the school’s budget, ensuring all expenses are within the allocated budget.
  • Monitor and manage school fees, payments, and financial record-keeping.
  • Assist in the procurement of educational resources and supplies while ensuring cost-efficiency.
Facility Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of school facilities, ensuring they are safe and conducive to learning.
  • Coordinate repairs, renovations, and equipment maintenance as needed.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure the school complies with all local education regulations and standards.
  • Maintain records for academic performance, student behavior, and other administrative reports.
  • Submit regular reports to school leadership on operational and financial performance.
Communication & Public Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee internal communications within the school community and ensure transparency in school activities.
  • Coordinate outreach activities and maintain a positive public image of the school.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in school administration or management.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and school management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of local education regulations and policies is an advantage.
