Sales Executive Role Description

  • Strategic Sales Execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue from publishing services, Wrighting Labs, and digital content subscriptions (e.g., TALEs).
  • Identify, prospect, and secure partnerships with institutions (schools, churches, corporates) and individual legends (authors).
  • Lead consultative sales conversations—translating client needs into Wikitabu solutions.
  • Execute cold calls, warm leads follow-ups, and sales pitches with clarity, confidence, and storytelling flair.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline across different verticals—publishing, community programs, digital subscriptions.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build, nurture, and manage long-term client relationships—from first contact to repeat business.
  • Maintain high service standards, anticipate client needs, and collaborate with internal teams for seamless delivery.
  • Act as a brand ambassador—representing Wikitabu at meetings, expos, events, and conferences.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on lead conversion, closed deals, and revenue performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions using the CRM system.
  • Provide timely sales forecasts and market intelligence to inform business decisions.
  • Market Development
  • Monitor publishing, education, and content industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Recommend new marketing ideas and sales activations to increase visibility and reach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign inputs and lead generation efforts.

Sales Executive Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, PR, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a consultative sales role (experience in publishing, education, media, or B2B sales is an advantage).
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, resourceful, confident, and persuasive.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Tech-savvy—proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
