Sales and Marketing Officer Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market reach in schools.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of field sales agents and telesales personnel to drive performance.
• Meet sales targets by engaging schools/clients and ensuring the team achieves their goals through coaching and motivation.
• Oversee school visits, ensuring sales agents follow up on leads and close deals effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school decision-makers (principals, procurement officers, and education boards).
• Manage the refundable fare system, ensuring reimbursements align with payment collections.
• Oversee pricing, invoicing, and collections, ensuring timely payments from schools.

Marketing & Business Development:

• Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote educational products.
• Organize product presentations, school workshops, and teacher training sessions.
• Oversee digital marketing initiatives (social media, email campaigns, website updates).
• Conduct market research to understand school needs, competitor strategies, and industry trends.
• Develop marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, and presentations to support sales efforts.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:

• Track and analyze sales performance, providing detailed reports on team activities and revenue growth.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize strategies accordingly.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a field sales team.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in digital marketing and CRM tools.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently for school visits.
