1. Stores Assistant

Overall Purpose of the Position
Ensure the safe receipt of goods and maintain accurate inventory control in compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Optimize warehouse space utilization.
Key Performance Areas
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock in a safe manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels.
- Organize and label items for easy identification.
- Assist in stock audits and cycle counts adhering to Standard Operating Procedures to maximize throughput.
- Prepare and issue items against reservation document as required.
- Posting of all reservation documents in S4HANA SAP
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
- Maintain 6S and EHS in the store area as per MRM standards.
- Daily reconciliation of all stock movements.
- Near miss reporting and improvement suggestions.
- Manage FIFO and FEFO materials to avoid stock write off.
- Adhere to Company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements
- Support and implement Company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics
- Implement and drive continuous improvement program in warehouse function and establish high level of performance & standards.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in documentation, data management and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
2. Business Analyst

Key responsibilities:
Performance and Continuous Improvement
- Acts as a critical catalyst in the Company’s drive towards a performance-oriented culture and continuous improvement
- Reviewing and continuously challenging/assisting in updating frameworks and tools used by the Company in driving performance. This includes (but is not limited to) performance dashboards, performance management systems, reports, etc.
- Provides day-to-day support to the Managing Director on critical performance initiatives to ensure timely delivery by the various MRM Management Team members and teams
- Supports the Managing Director on special tasks such as business research, special analysis, review of specific documents, etc
- Follow up on actions on behalf of the Managing Director as discussed and agreed
- Assists the Managing Director during crisis management
- Proactively identifies matters that may require the Managing Director’s attention
Projects
- Prepare and share periodic summary status updates for the selected Business Unit key projects, clearly highlighting exceptions that require escalation/action
- Lead the identification and prioritisation of key Business Unit projects with the Managing Director and the MRM Management team – in support of the MRM’s strategic and short-term objectives
- Collaborate with the Management team and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution of projects on a prioritised basis with a clear execution roadmap
- Champion the development of business cases when required and ensure that benefits are tracked
- Support the Managing Director in the development and driving progress on the strategic and operational plan
Enterprise Risk Management
- Support in the development/enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework, tools and practices to proactively identify, evaluate/analyse and report enterprise risks & opportunities on an ongoing basis. This will include:
- Definitions
- Categorisation of risks
- Evaluation/analysis methodology (e.g. impact; probability)
- Approach to mitigating risks – actions (SMART)
- Monitoring mechanisms
- In accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management framework and in alignment with Safal Group guidance:
- Assist in identifying and consolidating the enterprise risks at MRM, overall and for respective operations/functions.
- Facilitate the evaluation of risks and the development of mitigation actions
- Lead the monitoring of the status of the risks and mitigating actions, and facilitate the escalation process
- Set up the appropriate forums and tools to track and monitor progress on mitigating actions and drive closure.
- Provide key inputs into relevant MRM / Safal Group reports and Board Committees that oversee the enterprise risk management process.
Others
- General Support to the Managing Director and MRM Management team to coordinate critical activities, monitor key actions and drive closure of the same
- Support Managing Director in the preparation and effective execution of Key meetings and forums, e.g. Weekly PIT Stops and Monthly Business Review Meetings
- Strongly contribute to the MRM Culture change program
- Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Managing Director.
3. Forklift Operator

Overall Purpose of the Position
The position is responsible for loading and unloading materials, transporting goods safely, stacking materials, and maintaining the forklift.
Key Performance Areas
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the plant facility.
- Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials.
- Stack and organize materials efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any necessary repair required.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Reporting safety near misses and improvement suggestions.
- Adhere to all Mabati Rolling Mills safety protocols and company policies.
- Attend to other duties as assigned by the line supervisor
- Working environment requires that the forklift operator wear Personal Protective Equipements all the time for safety reasons.
4. Crane Operator

Overall Purpose of the Position
The position involves operating a crane to handle paints, backer and primer inventory while also assisting with general store operations, including stock receipt, stores arrangement, Stock rotation, and paints issuance to Operations.
Key Performance Areas
- Safely operate crane to lift, move, and position heavy paint containers and supplies.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory using crane equipment.
- Receive and store paint stock batchwise
- Organize and label paints for easy identification.
- Paint issuance to production as per the plan and ensure adherence to FIFO/ FEFO policy to avoid product expiries.
- Manage return of production pain reject as per the Mabati Rolling Mills process
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the paint stores.
- Attend daily tier 1 meeting with Colour Coating Line team to address operational challenges
- Maintain 6S and EHS at the paint store area as per Mabati Rolling Mills standards
- Adhere to Company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to crane operations.
