Risk Associate | Job Summary:

The Risk Associate will support the Group Risk Manager in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks across the organization. This role includes conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance with policies and regulations, supporting audit and ESG initiatives, and collaborating with various teams to address operational and strategic risks.


Risk Associate | Duties and Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment & Management:

  • Conduct regular risk assessments across operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify key risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and update the risk register with insights and trends from risk monitoring activities.

Compliance & Audit reviews:

  • Assist in preparing and conducting internal reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal controls and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor compliance with ESG standards and contribute to risk management reporting for investors.

Project Management & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project teams to identify potential risks in project planning and execution.
  • Act as a liaison between the Risk department and all other departments to ensure alignment on risk mitigation strategies.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of risk management activities and outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management and investors on risk trends and compliance metrics.

Risk Associate Job Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • [2-4] years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related role.
  • Experience in the PAYGO, manufacturing industries is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with ESG standards and compliance practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and risk management software/tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
