Public Relations Officer

Main Purpose of the Job – (Public Relations Officer)

  • Responsible for managing a thriving public relations department. Directs publicity programs and campaigns, improves public image of company, and clarifies company’s point of view on important issues.
Main Responsibilities 
  • Developing and executing the brand presence strategy.
  • Communication with the public.
  • Conducting market and investigative research and intelligence.
  • Developing activation campaigns and sponsorships.
  • Designing and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Planning of advertisement campaigns.
  • Monitoring media, newspapers, magazines, journals, blogs and social media platforms.
  • Handling publications for the company.
  • Ensure zero tolerance to brand reputation risk on all types of media
  • Maintain a calendar, planning and coordinating company events.
  • Customer engagement and client relationships.
  • Exploring new sales and marketing opportunities through Lead management and referrals.
  • Maintenance of brand identity though the branch network.
  • Website and social media platforms management.

  • Ensuring that the Company has a good corporate image/brand

Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations
Professional Qualifications
  • Professional qualifications in communication, public relations, media management
