Job Overview:
Our client is a well-established company in the trading and construction industry. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Projects Development Associate with a proven background in business development and strong project management skills. The Projects Development Associate will work closely with senior leadership to identify, develop, and execute strategic projects contributing to the company’s growth and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities for company growth.
- Build, maintain and foster long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders as the main point of contact.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts for new business.
- Support planning, execution, and delivery of key projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions.
- Ensure documentation and reporting of project milestones.
- Develop detailed project plans with timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with head office, local contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for effective project implementation.
- Collaborate with multicultural teams, ensuring effective communication.
- Provide strategic insights based on market and project data.
- Assist in developing business strategies and goals with senior leadership.
- Prepare and present reports on business development and project progress.
- Clearly communicate project objectives, timelines, and updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving new business and fostering client relationships.
- Experience in project management is preferred.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) may be an added advantage.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment may be desirable.
- Experience working with government and government agencies will be desirable.
- Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in the projects industry is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and ability to identify new opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for diverse team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strategic and creative thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project) is a plus.
