Operations Manager
Our client, a reputable dual-site Christian organization committed to empowering communities through impactful programs and initiatives, is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager who will be based in Nakuru.They will be responsible for overseeing and managing diverse operational needs, ensuring the smooth functioning of key areas of the organization.  This role is critical to ensuring that the organization operates efficiently and with integrity.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee diverse operational needs across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of resources.
  • Analyze and improve workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that establish consistency and accountability, ensure compliance, and promote operational excellence across all activities
  • Manage, train, empower, and develop the operations team, ensuring excellent performance, high level of integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and monitor the operations budget, tracking expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all areas.
  • Act as a key point of contact for addressing operational challenges: Respond promptly to issues, resolve conflicts, and implement solutions that ensure minimal disruption and maintain organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing and optimizing organizational operations, including planning, coordinating, and executing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Exceptional collaborative leadership abilities, combined with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on empowering teams, delegating effectively, and fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Well-spoken in English.
  • Proficiency in procurement processes, managing transportation logistics, and overseeing facilities operations is highly advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
