Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying learning and development needs across the organization, designing and delivering effective training programs, and promoting a culture of continuous learning to help employees develop their skills and achieve their full potential. The L&D Specialist will collaborate with Operations, HR and other departments to ensure that training initiatives align with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and development needs within the organization.
  • Create and implement training programs, workshops, and learning materials that address business needs and enhance employee performance.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning experience.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital platforms to manage and track training programs.
  • Support managers in developing and delivering targeted training for team-specific performance improvement.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Design and deliver leadership training programs aimed at developing current and future leaders.
  • Foster a culture of learning by encouraging employees to pursue development opportunities.
  • Ensure employees are up to date on mandatory training programs, such as health & safety or compliance-related training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Diploma in Human Resources, Public Relation, Customer Service, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience typically above 2 years in Learning & Development, Training, or Organizational Development.
  • Knowledge of L&D best practices, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess needs, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience with both in-person and virtual training delivery.
