Barista Description
We are looking for Baristas.
Responsibilities
- Make drinks: Baristas make coffee, espresso, and other drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and iced coffee
- Take orders: Baristas greet customers, take orders, and fulfill them
- Provide customer service: Baristas get to know regular customers, offer suggestions, and answer questions
- Maintain equipment: operate coffee machines, cash registers, and other equipment
- Manage inventory: Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Clean: Keep the store clean
- Train new staff: Train new employees
Skills
Customer service
- Friendly, attentive, and have excellent verbal communication skills
Time management
- Able to work well under pressure and manage their time effectively
Knowledge of coffee
- Must know about coffee roasting, growing methods, and different types of coffee
Adaptability
- Must be adaptable and able to work well with others
QUALIFICATIONS
- Form 4 certificate
- Certificate in Barista
- One year experience
Salary: KShs. 30,000 – KShs. 50,000
Education: High/Secondary School
