PHARMACY SUPERINTENDENT IN NAIROBI AND PHARMTECH IN MOMBASA

Job Summary

We are seeking senior licensed pharmacists with license unattached to any facility and he can be based in Nairobi or Mombasa. We are also seeking Pharmtechs who should be based in Mombasa

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 5 years
Job Description/Requirements
  • If applying for the Pharmacist superintendent position you can be based in Nairobi but if seeking the pharmtech position you must be based in Mombasa
  • Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
  • Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
  • Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
  • Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
  • Take inventory and track medication and supply orders.
  • Monitor drugs and other medical supplies levels and initiate the procurement process.
  • Any other duty

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmacology
  • Superintendent MUST have more than 5years post-license experience and pharmtech 2years post-license
  • Proven experience as a pharmacist
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
  • Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.
  • Valid PPB license to practice the profession is an added advantage
