Purpose for Relationship Manager Job

  • To manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust, while driving long term business retention and identifying opportunities for organic growth.

Relationship Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data-driven, client-specific strategies and tactical plans to deliver measurable value.
  • Maintained deep knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with timely and relevant insights
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through regular meetings, technical advisories, and proactive resolution of service issues.
  • Adhere to and recommended enhancements to defined client servicing framework by benchmarking industry best practices and analyzing performance matrixes.
  • Intentional study and gain in-depth understanding of clients’ strategic objectives to tailor products and solutions that are aligned with their goals and operational needs.
  • Drive client satisfaction by owning issue resolution from initiation to closure, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
  • Maximized revenue per account by identifying and delivering additional services, ensuring high levels of retention and engagement.
  • Identified cross-sell and up-sell opportunities while also sourcing new business through industry networking.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams and respective underwriters to ensure consistent and integrated service delivery.
  • Deliver effective account management, including performance reviews, policy renewals, and customized engagement strategies.
  • Client debt management and ensuring compliance with credit terms and collaborating with finance to minimize risk.

Professional and Academic Qualifications

  •  A bachelor’s degree in business, customer relations management or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Insurance
  •  AIIK / ACII.
  • Master’s degree
