Associate – Projects, Energy and Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributing to Strategic Objectives: Play a pivotal role in helping the firm achieve its goal of becoming a leading regional advisor on high-value, complex energy and infrastructure mandates. This includes providing expert legal advice, developing innovative solutions, and maintaining the highest standards of client service.
• Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with partners and senior associates, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and teamwork. Ensure smooth integration with fee earners from other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice that supports their business objectives.
• Professional Development: Take advantage of opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within the firm. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and other development programmes to enhance your legal expertise and career progression.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Possession of an LLB degree with a distinguished academic record, demonstrating a strong foundation in legal principles and practices.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of substantive experience in legal practice, with a particular emphasis on energy and infrastructure project development and finance. Candidates with a proven track record in these areas will be highly regarded.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a dynamic team environment. The candidate should demonstrate a capacity for building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Communication and Analytical Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent research and analytical abilities. The candidate must be adept at articulating complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
