Senior Finance Manager at Q-Sourcing Servtec Group
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the Clients entities in assigned countries, including Kenya. The primary duties include monthly accounting and reporting, financial planning & analysis, pricing and other accounting and finance operations, compliance, and treasury functions. The Associate Director will provide analytical support to the Head of Africa Programs and is expected to pro-actively identify risks & opportunities as well as solutions to drive efficiencies and mitigate risk.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform timely and accurate monthly accounting for assigned countries according to IFRS and statutory requirements
- Execute timely and accurate monthly management reporting for assigned countries
- Support pricing and analytics for sales orders and follow through with billing and collections of the same
- Manage cash flow and carry out accounts payable process
- Oversee compliance filings, annual audits and tax returns
- In partnership with operations, support preparation and monitoring of the annual plan and periodic forecast processes
- Drive improved financial acumen across foundation team through communication of reporting and dashboards, as well as through cross-functional coaching of non-finance team members
- Participate in or lead strategic & tactical initiatives that provide broad-based value for the Foundation
- Partner directly with cross-functional partners, including members of the executive leadership team, to review function specific KPIs, P&L impacts, and opportunities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor and/or master’s degree in finance or accounting
- 7+ years’ experience in related field
- Broad financial background (accounting, FP&A, treasury, financial operations)
- Makes sound business decisions and always acts with integrity
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Advanced excel skills with ability to assist with training of team members
- Ability to directly and indirectly lead and influence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to be a self-starter, taking initiative to solve problems
- Skilled at creating processes to support strong internal controls
- Strong drive and sense of urgency
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and build strong relationships.
