Job Description

Minimum Qualification Requirements

 

You have a TSC certificate.

A diploma Bachelor’s degree in Math and Science from a recognized University

You have 3-5 years of distinctive experience in teaching Math/Science from a Cambridge Registered School

Certificate in teaching International Curricular will be an added advantage

Proficient in using the Microsoft Office.

Requirements & Skills.

Bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, science, or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Math and/or Science Teacher.

A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organized, flexible disposition.

Outstanding interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.

Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.

Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.

Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.

Preparing quizzes, tests, and final examinations.

Documenting and reporting on students' progress.

Attending meetings with parents and staff.

Contributing to the school’s Professional Learning Community (PLC).

In addition to these responsibilities, will serve as the proctor for FLVS labs.

Assist with any additional duties as assigned by the school leadership team.
