 About the position

  • Reporting to the Specialist, Total Rewards, and working closely with HR and various team members, the Senior Analyst, HR & People Analytics, plays a pivotal role in the strategic analysis and management of human resources data. This position is instrumental in driving data-informed decisions by leveraging advanced analytics in HR & People Analytics. The Senior Analyst is tasked with interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights, ensuring the effective administration of HR analytics initiatives, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of HR data.
  • As a key contributor to the team, the Senior Analyst collaborates actively to ensure that HR analytics activities align with The Alliance's established procedures and guidelines. They play a supportive role in upholding strict adherence to employment rules, policies, and relevant legal standards. Contributing to timely and accurate responses to data requests and queries, the Senior Analyst is instrumental in facilitating the continuous improvement of HR processes through their insights and data-driven solutions.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Gather HR data from various sources, like talent management systems and employee records, performing basic analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  • Assist in preparing periodic reports on key HR metrics such as retention rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment process efficiency.
  • Participate in people analytics projects, providing analytical support and collaborating with team members to develop relevant insights.
  • Ensure the HR database is up-to-date and accurate, conducting regular quality checks.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of people analytics tools and systems, providing feedback and support to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Provide basic training and support to HR users in data analysis tools and interpreting reports.
  • Work with the HR team to identify process improvement opportunities based on analyzed data.
  • Ensure that all HR analytics activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Respond to HR data-related inquiries in a timely and informed manner.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and analysis of organizational culture using data from surveys and other methods.

Requirements

  • A qualification in data analytics, statistics, human resources analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR analytics within multicultural organizations.
  • Proven experience in managing and interpreting complex datasets to deliver actionable insights in dynamic and diverse workplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely, comfortable with navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels in a respectful, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly, analyze problems, and provide data-driven solutions to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Fluency in English is essential to communicate in writing and speaking.
