Job Description
- As a Cloud Developer, you will be working on our customers’ needs and with the Sales and Cloud Engineering team to develop and actualize cloud solutions that meet and support our customer's needs and requirements on the cloud. Your demonstration of an interest in and strong understanding of technology is pivotal.
- This role is about working with customers and developing solutions for their needs, mostly within the Google Cloud ecosystem. You will be working on our customers’ needs and with other teams to develop and actualize cloud solutions that meet and support our customers' needs and requirements on the cloud. You will also step in and own our customers' issues and provide support to them.
- You will be expected to put together the tech know-how with business acumen to help our customers navigate all their cloud computing needs, including infrastructure design, maintenance, support and planning, and everything in between. Not only should you be experienced in cloud-based tech, but have a firm grasp of IaaS technologies, platforms and applications and have intimate knowledge of how best to customize these attributes to our customers' businesses to help them become more secure and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Build rapid prototypes and MVPs using a variety of technologies and frameworks.
- Develop solutions and solution integrations that deliver value and impact to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead client working sessions to identify, categorize, prioritize, and analyze data and information to work into cloud development action plans.
- Provide guidance and consulting to customers on how to build production-grade products.
- Led in designing and developing innovative solutions to customer requirements using our cloud solutions.
- Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Customer support function to ensure speedy resolution of customer issues.
- Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the cloud solutions we offer.
- Execute design sprint methods and other rapid iterative approaches.
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company get better.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in developing and delivering solutions that meet private and public sector security and compliance requirements, such as risk management framework.
- Experience with cloud storage solutions, SQL/NoSQL datastores, and distributed computing technology (e.g., MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, Elasticsearch/Solr).
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other providers.
- Strong in web stack programming technologies and frameworks like PHP, Laravel, HTML5, Javascript, and CMS.
- Containers and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of microservices design patterns, best practices, and tools for building scalable, loosely coupled cloud applications.
- Ability to design and develop RESTful APIs for cloud services and applications.
- Proficiency in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the availability and performance of cloud applications (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, grafana).
- Experience with DevOps principles, including continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), continuous testing(CT), and automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, load balancing, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
- Knowledge and experience with working with loosely coupled asynchronous applications (e.g., Apache Kafka, Pub/Sub, Eventarc)
- SAP Solutions building experience is an added advantage.
