Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve the company’s objectives. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong background in both sales and marketing within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage key accounts, and drive business growth through innovative marketing strategies and effective sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with major clients.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand and promote new products.
Marketing:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
- Organize and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and market research techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
