Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrates comprehension of Digital Identities, Digital Public Infrastructure, Digital Public Goods, Payments, Data Exchange, consent, and digital signature solutions.
  • Proficient in guiding or aiding the execution and expansion of DPI or Digital Solutions across African nations.
  • Capable of crafting concept notes and technical proposals.

Job Description :

Business Development:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and client needs to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive proposals, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Create concept notes outlining project ideas, methodologies, and potential impact, drawing on sectoral/thematic research.
  • Collaborate with senior management to plan and execute business development activities, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct field visits to gain insights, engage experts, and understand on-ground realities.
  • Assist in organizing state/national-level events and workshops, hosting government delegations, and planning exposure visits.
  • Participate in marketing activities such as workshops, international events, conferences, and discussions to represent the organization.

Business Execution:

  • Assume leadership or supportive roles in planning and executing IT projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Offer technical advice and project management assistance to both government and private sector clients.
  • Possess prior experience collaborating with governmental bodies.
  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders within client organizations to facilitate successful project execution.
  • Develop tools for evaluating current digitization levels in governmental or private sector clients and advocate for best standards and practices.
  • Demonstrate understanding of digital identities, digital public infrastructure, digital public goods, payments, data exchange, consent, and digital signature solutions.
  • Lead or assist in implementing and rolling out digital solutions in African nations.
  • Generate project-related deliverables such as project plans, as-is and to-be analyses, feasibility studies, detailed project reports, functioal requirement specifications, project status reports, and research papers.
  • Execute assignments with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Maintain open communication with senior stakeholders, understanding their unique needs and integrating feedback for improved project outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration within cross-functional teams at MSC, promoting an environment of innovation and adaptability.
  • Contribute to the team and project's success by publishing blogs and articles to highlight MSC's work in national and international media.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
  • Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Possession of other pertinent professional certifications aligned with specialized areas.

Any Other Requirements:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate within diverse, cross-cultural teams
  • Proficient in French
